Hi @BEnz55,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP laptop is not connecting with your HP printer. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Connections: Ensure that both your laptop and printer are turned on and properly connected to the same network. If using a wired connection, verify that the USB cable is connected securely.

Network Configuration: For wireless connections, verify that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Printer Drivers: Make sure the latest printer drivers are installed on your laptop. You can download drivers from the Official HP® Support by entering the model number of your printer.

Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting the laptop and printer can resolve connectivity issues.

Printer and Devices: On your laptop, go to 'Printers & Scanners' settings, ensure that your printer is listed, and set as the default printer. If not listed, click 'Add a printer or scanner' to find and connect it.

HP App: Use the HP app Official HP® Support to assist with setup and connectivity. It can offer troubleshooting tips tailored to your specific models.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
