Product: HP Photosmart C4795 All-in-One Printer

I'm trying to connect a C4795 printer (wireless) to a new HP envy laotop.  The installation software is scanning my home network and finding two existing printers, but not the new one (which of course does not have an IP address yet).  I don't know how to proceed.  This should be plug and play, easy.

Hi @syp0721 

 

1. You may need to connect a USB cable from your printer to your Envy laptop before the installation,

because some older printers works better with USB cable connection.

 

2. And go to Configuration > Printers then Add the printer.

 

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
