Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can't connect to the 'new' HP printer I've set up. I've installed the new printer through the HP app and also repeatedly through Windows 10 ( 'add printer' ) but it doesn't allow me to connect and says that there no driver. Additionally, when I go to Word (newly insalled) it attempts to send a print document to an old HP printer via USB001. This printer has been removed via Windows and hidden on the HP app. The only thing I haven't been able to do yet, is find a way to remove it from the HP account. Thus far I've only been able to hide it. The new printer works beecause my wife has successfully printed from her ipad and laptop on the same wifi network as this laptop..  I've spent hours on this.  Even attempting to disable and re-enable USB ports.

I am NOT attempting to use a USB connection. It's just a hunch I have that the PC once upon a time did connect to our old HP printer via the USB.  Any help greatly appreciated....? Thanks
