HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer

Using the newest HP app, I installed my old HP Envy 6055 on my new Lenova desktop Win 11 using Firefox browser. When I print a Google calendar inside the calendar website (not using the Firefox print), it previews and prints an older version than the one on the screen. When I use the Firefox print feature, it shows a blank page on preview. I've done the standard "fixes" (hard clear cache for example) but can't figure out what the conflict is. I am not very computer savy.

Interesting - Firefox does not appear to "see" the Google calendar for printing.  ?

Perhaps the Google Calendar app limits printing the Calendar view within the Calendar application.

It seems to work -- do set the Date Range before printing.

Thanks for your reply. I was unable to update my old computer to Win 11 and finally got a new computer.  I used this printer with my old computer with no problem using the Google calendar website or with Firefox. And it prints now from within Google calendar. However, when I made a correction to the calendar, then tried to print it, the previous calendar was there which is why I cleared the cache and made all the other attempts suggested by the HP app. It just doesn't "see" the updated version. There is some conflict of control somewhere. I made sure my printer was compatible with Win 11, too.

                    Short Answer

Suggested Solution / Workaround:

Use the Edge browser

and

Avoid "dialog" printing unless you can live without the Preview part of the job setup.

Yeah, it does seem buggy using Firefox and then the Print using system dialog

That killed the ability to print the calendar within the Firefox browser with or without issuing "Print using system dialog".

Clearing Google from the Firefox Cache did at least reset so the printing works (as long as you don't open "Print using system dialog".

The Edge browser supports using "Print using system dialog" as long as you can live without the preview.

For example, "sight unseen", you might want to switch the orientation to Landscape before clicking Print.

Forcing the "Print using system dialog" does not break Edge -- it won't show a preview but it does seem to print.

I can print the calendar within the limitations that seem to be built into the calendar app but I can't make it seamless and cannot make it work with Firefox > "Print using system dialog" (which opens the HP App print dialog).

That's the best I have at the moment.
