Hi @Marcin86,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
It sounds like you're encountering a persistent issue while trying to install drivers for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw printer on a Windows 10, 64-bit computer. Here are some additional steps and considerations that might help resolve this problem:
Clear Temporary Files and Restart:
- Sometimes, temporary files or incomplete installations can interfere with driver installations. Clear the temporary files on your computer and restart it before attempting to install the printer drivers again.
Disable Antivirus/Firewall:
- Temporarily disable any antivirus software or firewall on your computer that might be blocking the installation process. Sometimes, security software can interfere with driver installations.
Use HP Smart App or Windows Update:
- Instead of manually downloading drivers from the HP website, try using the HP Smart app or let Windows Update automatically detect and install the drivers. Sometimes, this method can bypass certain installation issues.
Install in Compatibility Mode:
- Right-click on the driver installation file and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab and check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
- Choose an earlier version of Windows (e.g., Windows 8 or Windows 7) from the dropdown list.
- Click "Apply" and then "OK." Try running the installer again.
Check System Requirements:
- Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for the printer drivers. Check the HP website for any specific compatibility notes or updates related to your printer model and Windows 10.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the HP website. This tool can diagnose and resolve common printing and scanning problems automatically.
Manually Install Drivers via Device Manager:
- Connect the printer to your computer and open Device Manager.
- Look for any devices related to your HP printer under "Print queues" or "Other devices."
- Right-click on the printer device, select "Update driver," and choose "Search automatically for updated driver software." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
By following these steps, you should be able to address the installation issue for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw printer on your Windows 10, 64-bit computer. If the problem continues, I recommend you contact phone support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
