Hi, I have a Deskjet 2130 All-in-one printer that has suddenly stopped working altogether. I have uninstalled and reinstalled HP Smart printing software, but nothing is working. I can manually scan documents but nothing prints at all, have used all the diagnostic tools available which keeps insisting everything is okay.
I keep getting error codes of: 0x00007FFC21FF4F69
0x80004005
0x00007FFED0124F69
0x00000505
last two error codes appear when trying to print Adobe Acrobat documents. I have updated Windows (Windows 10 version 21H1, OS build 19043.1466 and followed all suggestions for updating Drivers - Still nothing working - Any suggestion would be really helpful!

@Lila9, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to print. Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
-
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Hi Kumar0307
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried everything you suggested and still nothing is working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times, and get the same result every time - no printing!.
I can, however, place a document on the scanner bed and press one of the buttons on the printer and it will print either a black and white copy or coloured depending on the button pressed. If I try to print from Word or Excel I get a pop-up message of "printer not set up" even though printer is listed and ready. Adobe Acrobat will not print, I get an error message of "Function Address 0x00007ffb49ca4f69 Protection Fault - (exception code 0x000000505). The function address changes to a different code every time you try to print again. The print scan doctor program I ran states that the printer is working correctly and there is no issues. The test print page option on the scan doctor program does not print - no printer icon appears to show it is printing. The same thing happens with other programs the printer icon never appears and the print queue remains blank. I still have the original printer disk which I have used as well to reinstall the printer software - still no joy in printing! Smart printing app doesn't work either.
If you can figure out what's gone wrong I would be very grateful to you for your advice on fixing this issue.
With regards,
Lila9

Hi Kumar0307
Thank you for your last email. I followed the link you gave me to the letter and the printer is still not printing, I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times via the information you gave me - still not printing! When I try to print I keep getting a pop-up message saying printer not set up, yet Program and features state that the printer is installed.
I have run numerous troubleshooters all state everything is working okay, I have optimised and run a disk clean up, run a DISM and a sfc/scannow, and still the printer will not print. Any suggestions?
Regards,
Lila9

Hi Kumar0307,
My apologies for not contacting you sooner. I didn't contact your technical department, unfortunately my printer is out of warranty. However, I did get my printer working again. It appears that either a Windows update or updates were corrupted, as other programs started to act erratically, I did a rollback of these updates which seems to have affected my whole computer. As nothing was working I did something radical and took my computer back to its factory settings, which has reset everything and reinstalled the printer software and drivers I needed. Hopefully, as new updates become available my printer will continue to work -fingers crossed!
Thank you for all your help in this matter.
With regards,
Lila9
