deskjet 2320 + mac = not possible to setup

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble setting up my HP DeskJet 2320 printer on my Mac running OS 14 Sonoma. When I try to install the software, the installer says that it has been successfully installed. However, when I move to the next step, it tells me that the software is not installed. Because of this, I can’t run the print tests and I’m unable to use the printer at all.

Has anyone experienced the same issue, or does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Please try to install following next steps, s'il vous plaît, 

(1) Connect a USB cable between your printer and Mac computer:

• 

(2) Then please download and install  HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:

• https://Apple_Deskjet_drivers_MacOS.dmg

(3) And go to System Preferences > Printers then Add the printer.

Unfortunately, the HP Printer Driver you sent me does not work because it is not compatible with the operating system on my Mac.
