HP Deskjet F4272 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After my laptop was repaired and Windows reinstalled I have been unable to install the driver for my printer. Messages are saying the operating system is not compatible but I am not aware it has changed. I have tried installation from disk and also online.

Hi @petrolheadtony,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand that you have an HP Deskjet F4272 All-In-One Printer driver and you have currently installed Windows 10 on your PC.

So there is a compatibility issue with the operating system. However, you may still add the printer using the Windows built-in driver. Click here to view the document.

You may use this link to verify the compatibility.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
