Color Laserjet Pro MFC M182nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone know how to do automatic double-sided printing on the MFC M182nw printer? There doesn't appear to be anything about it in the manual. Only refers to manual double-sided printing. I just find it really hard to believe that any printer of this level of price and quality can't print on both sides without manual manipulation.

Hi,

The printer does not support automatic duplex printing, you may find its specifications below:

https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m182nw

Generally, for a color laser printer this is the lowest model in features or price, color laser printers aren't cheap and a matter of price is very relative to the product type.

The cheapest HP Color Laser MFP to support automatic duplex printing is the Color Laserjet Pro M283fdw, generally the D within the printer model indicate automatic duplex capabilities:

I do suggest reviewing the following 3rd party link, it does describe much regarding color laser printers in compare and as you may see for a similar level or price you will unlikely get automatic duplex printing:
