Hi @SteveGardener,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • May I know what version of the operating system is running on your MAC?
  • So are you using HP standard USB cable for connection?

Try if you can change the settings on your Mac PC. Please follow the below steps:

  • Open a document that you would like to print
  • Click on File and select print or press ⌘ + P

  • You will see the print dialog box

  • Now click on the dropdown icon and make sure you select your printer ( if selected ignore this step)
  • NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.
  • Make sure you uncheck the B&W option and select as default as per your requirement

  • You may save the settings as a preset by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset
  • By doing so and completing the print job these settings will remain default till another preset will be used in the future.

Update the Printer firmware & MacOS update:

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
  • Update software on Mac

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
