@Orion3M42, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding How to Download and Ensure HP Digital Imaging Monitor is Running!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To ensure the HP Digital Imaging Monitor is running on your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Check for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon:
    • Look in the lower-right corner of your computer screen in the System Tray for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon.
    • If it is not visible, click the arrow on the left side of the tray to check if the icon is hidden.
  2. Unhide the icon:
    • Click Customize, then a window will open.
    • From the drop-down menu next to HP Digital Imaging Monitor, select "Show icon and notifications." Click OK.
  3. Activate HP Digital Imaging Monitor:
    • If you don't see the icon in the System Tray or as a hidden icon, you'll need to activate the HP Digital Imaging Monitor.
    • Click the Windows icon in the taskbar.
    • Type msconfig in the "Programs and Files" box, and press Enter.
    • The Systems Configuration Utility window opens. Click the Startup tab.
    • Look for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor in the list. If it is not listed, the driver was not correctly installed or a custom install was used.
    • If HP Digital Imaging Monitor is listed but not selected, click the checkbox to select it.
    • Click Apply to save the change, then click OK.
    • A dialog box appears, click Restart to restart your computer.

After restarting your computer, the HP Digital Imaging Monitor should be visible in your System Tray.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
