To ensure the HP Digital Imaging Monitor is running on your computer, follow these steps:
- Check for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon:
- Look in the lower-right corner of your computer screen in the System Tray for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon.
- If it is not visible, click the arrow on the left side of the tray to check if the icon is hidden.
- Unhide the icon:
- Click Customize, then a window will open.
- From the drop-down menu next to HP Digital Imaging Monitor, select "Show icon and notifications." Click OK.
- Activate HP Digital Imaging Monitor:
- If you don't see the icon in the System Tray or as a hidden icon, you'll need to activate the HP Digital Imaging Monitor.
- Click the Windows icon in the taskbar.
- Type msconfig in the "Programs and Files" box, and press Enter.
- The Systems Configuration Utility window opens. Click the Startup tab.
- Look for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor in the list. If it is not listed, the driver was not correctly installed or a custom install was used.
- If HP Digital Imaging Monitor is listed but not selected, click the checkbox to select it.
- Click Apply to save the change, then click OK.
- A dialog box appears, click Restart to restart your computer.
