My Officejet pro 8600 all in one printer doesn't work with my MAC Operating System 11.1 Big Sur.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you getting any error message or code?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

  • Are the printer and PC connected to the same network? 

  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? 

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi jazz2live! I have the same problem. After I upgraded to big sur on my macbook pro, I can no longer connect to my scanner. When I go to the HP support site to find a driver, I get a message that this is not supported. Did HP stop supporting the 8600 for Mac after Big Sur?

 

printer: HP Officejet Pro 8600

OS: Big Sur 11.2.3
