Please try to install with the next steps:

  • Bitte führen Sie die Installation anhand der folgenden Schritte durch:

(1) Connect a USB cable between Deskjet printer and Mac computer:

(2) Then install the next driver:

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.

Good morning!

1. From this website

Download the dedicated app – it's official. https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Admin.app.zip


2. In this app, download the driver for the HP Deskjet 2050 J510 series.

3. Then, when installing the printer on your Mac, select the connected printer under "Select Software" and choose the previously installed HP Deskjet 2050 J510.
Everything works, the Mac version is the latest (I updated it yesterday).

No other driver packages from the official website worked – they're not compatible with the new Mac version, and you can't simply download the driver. The HP Easy Print app also doesn't work.
