driver issues

does anyone know where i can manually download a driver for envy 4250 printer?

I have uninstalled printer and software,  tried to reinstall printer then software but printer states no driver installed and refuses to install one. I have gone through all of windows trouble shooting, windows update and hp update and still wont install properly. Also tried using ip address to install but still no good, I have it installed on my other win 11 machine with no issues but trying to install on ASUS vivo book is hopeless. I can also print off mobile phone with no issue. 

Any ideas? as HP virtual assistant is totally useless thanks in advance

I do not find product:   envy 4250

If your printer is instead,  HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer series  

then the full driver printer software is available for your printer.

If you do not want / need the how-to information, scroll down to Web Pack Installation

Download, Save, and then Install the Software -

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Details / Examples

Printer Software - Full Driver

Reinstall the full driver printer software

• Check / Install any pending Windows Updates 
• If not done as part of Windows Updates, Restart your computer 

Next,

Uninstall existing printer software

• Uninstall existing full driver printer software from Programs and Features.
• If your printer software includes a separate "help" in Programs and Features, uninstall that, too.
• Restart the computer and log in.

Install full driver printer software

• If the printer is connected to the computer using a printer USB cable, remove / disconnect the cable before loading the software.

Download, Save, and Install

• If using a USB cable to connect the printer to your computer, connect the cable when instructed to do so (near the end of the software installation process.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in

            What about HP Scan?

After the installation of the printer software is complete -

The full driver will be listed in Programs and Features AND in Settings > Apps > Installed Apps (Windows 11)

Next,

• The full driver printer software will have added one or more "container" shortcuts on the Desktop:

• Printer Assistant - named for the printer model

OR

On newer printers and when the new full driver printer software no longer supports the Printer Assistant:

• Scan Assistant - named for itself

AND

• The full driver printer software, once installed, will have added a shortcut icon for HP Scan. 

NOTE > Model Dependent

The shortcut for HP Scan that is part of the full driver might be named for the printer model.

Thank you for the reply, it now works after using the full web package but it was also due to the vivo book being set to windows 11 s mode so wont accept any 3rd party apps or drivers typical microsoft.

You are welcome.

 Perhaps Windows S mode is useful in systems where space is a premium or where it's necessary to limit the user's ability to manage the Operating System.  I've never had to run it.
