Product: photosmart C4780

Inherited this printer trying to make it work with a Macbook air OS 10.9. Found driver which claims to have installed the software but there is no sign of it. Is the driver incompatible with current mac OS? Is the driver likely to be hidden in the computer somewhere as I am now getting messages that the disk is almost full (having tried to download three times).

How is the printer connected to the MAC?

Check the connection.

 

Click here to download the printer drivers for macOS 10.9

 

If you are using a USB cable, you may refer to this document to know how to install the printer.
