driver unavailable, all installs fail.  Also said driver stuck in thread

i've downloaded the drivers and my printer is recognized in Settings however I continue to get the same message "Driver is unavailable".  I I have downloaded the driver(s) how is this not available?....Running Windows 10 by the way
