Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently installed a new update to my printer software. It prints fine. However, since doing the update I've lost the eprint capability. It tells me the printer is not connected to the Internet. I tried fixing the problem using the HP app for the printer and got a message telling it could not do it. What do I need to do to get this problem fixed? Do I need to download and reinstall the HP eprint drivers and software?

Thanks

Ken

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

Interesting that this issue just surfaced recently -- I cannot explain the timing.

Unfortunately, your printer no longer supports Web Services (as of November 2020 or earlier).

Without Web Services, no ePrint.

No, there is no workaround.

Thanks for the update on my 3050J611 printer. For some strange reason the print had been working fine prior to this software update. The white light on the display for the printer was always on indicating it was working. That's how I noticed print wasn't working as the small white indicator light was out and when I pressed the print button the message told me it was not connected to the internet, and the 3050J611 HP Printer app shows a red X on the internet connection.

Fortunately, I have another HP 4650 printer which does support eprint.

You are welcome.

The following will be of interest when you decide to replace your printer(s).

The older ePrint technology has been replaced with "Print Anywhere".

Look for the "Print Anywhere" feature when you are considering a new model.

“Print Anywhere App” Supported on Select Printers

HP Printers - Print Anywhere with the HP Smart App

 Step 3:  Use Print Anywhere

Thanks for the reply. Turns out it was the Black ink cartridge, it was an older, unused item when I installed it. Worked fine for a couple of days, then I experienced faint printing and then very spotting printing. Installed a new cartridge of Instant Ink and now it works fine.

Sorry for the wrong reply. I thought your reply was for the help I asked for in regards to my HP 4650 issue.

I'm told by another person who replied to me regarding the print problem that my HP 3050J611 printer is no longer supported by print, and that's why I can't connect to print services. Fortunately, I do have the HP 4650 which does provide me print capabilities.

Thanks again
