Hi @ark210,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble printing attachments when using ePrint on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 from an Android device, there are a few things you can check and steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue. Here's a guide to help you.

  1. Check Email Format:

    • Ensure that the email attachments are in a supported format. Common formats include PDF, JPEG, PNG, and Microsoft Office documents.
  2. Update Firmware:

    • Make sure your printer has the latest firmware. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website or through the printer's control panel.
  3. Attachment Size:

    • Check the size of the attachments. Some printers have limitations on the size of files that can be printed.
  4. Email Content:

    • Ensure that the attachments are included in the body of the email, not just as links or icons. Some email clients might send attachments in a way that the printer can't access.
  5. Check Email Address:

    • Confirm that you are using the correct HP ePrint email address for your printer. You can find this address by printing a Web Services information page from the printer's control panel.
  6. Printer Email Whitelist:

    • Check if your printer has an email whitelist feature. If it does, make sure that the email address you are using to send the print job is whitelisted.
  7. Print Email Content:

    • Some printers have settings that allow you to choose whether to print email content, attachments, or both. Check the printer settings to ensure that attachments are set to be printed.
  8. Print App:

    • Use the HP ePrint app on your Android device. This app is designed to work seamlessly with HP ePrint-enabled printers and may provide better compatibility.
  9. Test with Different Attachments:

    • Try sending different types of attachments to see if the issue is specific to certain file types.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue of not printing attachments when using HP ePrint on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
