envy 6020 printer - where are instructions??

Hi. I just bought an Envy 6020 printer and I cannot find basic operating instructions anywhere. I wasted 6 hours of my life yesterday setting it up - with no help from HP's uselss and misnamed support service.

I want to scan a doc but cannot find out how!! which of the identical lit-up icons is copy and which is scan? are they even that?

Why, why are there no basic instructions anywhere???
