I cannot complete the printer setup because it keeps saying that ʻsomething went wrongʻ and displays error code UU_400_EB000A9900. I am using HP Smart app to install my printer. I have already reset the printer to factory default settings and uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Smart application in Windows.

Hi @scrame_neen,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing difficulties with setting up the printer. The error code UU_400_EB000A9900 you're encountering during the setup of your HP 9130e printer could be related to network issues, driver problems, or connectivity settings. I would request you to please follow the below steps which should fix the issue.

Printer Restart:

  • Turn off the printer, wait a few moments, and then turn it back on to reset any temporary glitches.

Driver Updates:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download them from the HP Support website by searching for your printer model.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can automatically detect and resolve many printer-related issues including connectivity and setup problems.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer as these updates can fix known issues.

Reconfigure the Printer:

  • Consider resetting the printer and reconfiguring the setup process from scratch to see if the error persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
