Hi,

Lost my mind the whole afternoon and of course, did not found anything helpful. Have upgrade firmware to the last one ver.20200531 and now is only hp logo on the screen.

Is there is any good guy around to show me a link where I can find the old firmware for this product name. Please do not try with a ftp adress where 101 folder dated from the year 2001. Just please file, link, anything that can be helpful.

@jaksav, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

There is no option to downgrade the printer firmware. However, we can try to reset the printer to its factory settings and check if that helps.

I have sent you a private message with a set of instructions to perform a reset. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Dear KUMAR0307,

After a while, I (we) have an acceptable solution, or the problem is resolved at this time. Still there is only a HP logo on the screen, but hopefully, in the future, it will be resolved also that issue. At the moment over 20 pages are printed without a problem.

Once again thank you and looking forward to a permanent solution.

If the printer screen is still stuck on the HP logo, it could be an issue with the printer display. If the printer is under warranty, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

 

If the printer is out of warranty, you will have to either get a new one or continue using the printer as you are able to print fine.
