I lost the password for the Embedded Web Server and would like to reset it to the default.
I've seen other questions from people who have forgotten the admin password and the answer always sent as a Direct Message.
Please send me a direct message with instructions to reset the EWS/admin password on my DeskJet 3755.
Thank you so much!

@jp165, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to access the EWS page of the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hello,
I have the exact same problem on a HP 3750. I don't remember my admin password and I need to make a factory reset, but I cannot figure out how to proceed.
Please, help me too by private message. (by the way, I don't understand why you don't share the solution in a public post....)
Thanks,
Ivan
