Hi @jockeyeba,

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Printer Software on HP’s Website:
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Search for your printer model, HP Envy 5052, and select your operating system version (macOS Sequoia 15.5 if available).
- Download any available software or driver updates.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store if it's not already installed.
- Open the app and ensure your printer is connected.
- The app may automatically prompt you for a software update or guide you through updating necessary printer firmware and drivers.
Apple Software Update:
- Click on the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select "System Preferences," then click on "Software Update."
- Ensure your Mac is updated as peripherals often require the latest OS updates for compatibility.
Reinstall the Printer Driver:
- If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, try removing the printer and reinstalling it.
- Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners."
- Select your printer from the list and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Add the printer again by clicking the plus (+) button and following the setup prompts.
I hope this helps.
