Product: hp 4152 printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi, i purchased a HP 4152 printer a month ago.  now learn that HP no longer provides drivers or support to set up this printer for scanning as well as printing on a system running windows 8.1.  they do charge you to get help with a smart friend extra help charge.  is there a free way to set up this new printer without all the blackmail and being disconnected by customer support. thank you  suzannerom222@**bleep**.com

@suzannerom, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are trying to install the printer on your Win 8.1 computer.

 

Use the HP Scan and Capture app from Microsoft Store to scan.

 

Install the printer using Windows built-in driver

Refer to this document to know how. Try printing.

Note: If this model printer is not listed, use Deskjet 990c driver.
