@JT940, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

I understand you're looking for a Windows 11 driver for your HP OfficeJet 4500 printer. Here's how you can get it set up:

Option 1: Download from HP Support Website

HP provides drivers for the OfficeJet 4500 All-in-One Printer - G510g series. You can try installing the Windows 10 driver in compatibility mode if Windows 11 is not listed.

Official HP® Support

  1. Visit the link above.
  2. Select Windows 10 (64-bit) if Windows 11 is not listed.
  3. Download the Full Feature Software and Driver.
  4. After downloading, right-click the installer > Properties > Compatibility tab > check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10.
  5. Run the installer and follow on-screen instructions.

Option 2: Use Windows Built-in Driver

Windows 11 may automatically install a basic driver via Windows Update.

  1. Connect your printer via USB or ensure it's on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
  3. Windows may detect and install the driver automatically.

Option 3: Use HP Support Assistant

You can also try using the HP Support Assistant tool to detect and install the correct driver: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Verify Installation

After installation:

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
  • Select your printer and click Print a test page

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
