I use AirPrint on a MAC and for the first time ever I have an expired certificate which I cannot overcome.

I have

cleared the print queue

Power off and restarted both the printer and the computer

Removed and reinstalled the printer

I still cannot print.

Many thx for the information. It is definitely the problem but I still have a certificate problem.  How do I get the updated certificate onto the printer.  I have been through the steps, generated a new certificate but it appears extra steps are required to update the printer

Thx again. will try again tomorrow as late here.  For info I use AirPrint (not certain if you are a windows linux or Mac person).  That means I have no HP drivers installed, nor do I have a HP account

Thanks for your help.  Not certain if it is an old computer our what.  You were 100% correct it was the certificate.  The simplest way was to use the computer, enter the IP address of the printer which brings up the web page for the printer.  Then update and save the new printer certificate.  The printer must then be restarted.

FerRX you probably were fully aware of this , and it was the simplest way.  I am very grateful for your input as IO did not wish to be faced with a new printer and sorry if I was a bit slow to work things out.
