I am attempting to work the scan feature on my Hp deskjet 2600 series   All in one printer. using the HP Print + Scan 5*1.  I shows the printer and I can click on the one I want.  the I click the find and fix scan problems.  It the went thru and green checked the reccommeded updates, device manager, drive check, device  status.  It gets to Windows Scan and you can see it is checking but never completes even after 1 hour.  The HP Scan and Test Scan then stay not being checked. 

 

How do I proceed?

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

 

The following resource will help you :

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Just bought this printer and connected wirelessly to laptop no problem. I want to email a scanned document, but HP support site no help. Any suggestions please?
