Hi @silverbuggsy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you would like to send a scanned document by email using your HP ENVY 6132e All-in-One Printer.

You can use the Scan to Email feature through Shortcuts. Please follow these steps:

  1. Open the HP app and sign in.
  2. Select your printer.
  3. Select Shortcuts.
  4. Select Settings, and then select Printer Access.
  5. Select or set the required access period, and then select Save.
  6. Once you see“Shortcuts access enabled!”, go to the printer control panel.
  7. Place the document you want to scan on the printer.
  8. On the printer control panel, touch Scan.
  9. Select Scan to Email.
  10. Select the recipient's email address.
  11. Adjust the scan settings if needed, and then touch Scan.
  12. If you need to scan another page, select Add.
  13. When all pages have been scanned, select Finish.

Once completed, the scanned file is sent to the recipient's email address.

Please note that Scan to Email is not supported when the printer is connected by USB. The printer needs to be connected over the network.

For additional information, please refer to: Scan from the control panel on HP OfficeJet Pro, ENVY, DeskJet, Color LaserJet Pro, DesignJet printe...

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
