Attaching your Laserjet 1100 to a current device is going to be challenging. Your best option in terms of support and actually being able to print would be a parallel print server. The challenge there is most of them are configured to fit an A type centronics connector and not the C style connector on your printer. If you can find an adapter that coverts the C connector on your printer to an A connector then a product like this will work

I did find one adapter online http://www.cablesonline.com/cefetohpmaie.html

The vendor shows a USB to parallel cable but I would strongly discourage trying this as USB support for old parallel printers is poor under Windows 10 and 11 whereas a network connection is nearly bulletproof.
