Hi there,

I am wanting to print addresses on envelopes using sizes that aren't in the default mode for printing.  I read on HP community to install the HP deskjet 9800 driver, which is compatible with my Officejet pro 8600 printer e-all in one.  I've installed the 9800 driver onto my MacBook Air, but I'm having trouble figuring out the next steps or how to add it to my printer using a Mac.  I saw directions on here for PC only.  Thank you for your suggestions!

Hi @Doodle2Mom

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

You can do this on a Win PC but not on a MAC. The driver of HP 9800 is a basic driver compatible with Officejet 8600 printer on a Win PC.

On a MAC, this printer is AirPrint compatible. Install the printer using AirPrint driver

Kindly refer to this document to know how.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
