@heidi2025, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To cancel a print job on your HP Envy Inspire 7955e, you have a few options depending on whether you're using the printer's touchscreen, a computer, or a mobile device:

From the Printer's Touchscreen

  1. Look for a Cancel, Stop, or X button on the touchscreen.
  2. Tap it to cancel the current print job.
This only cancels the job currently printing, not others in the queue.

From a Windows Computer

  1. Click the printer icon in the system tray (bottom-right of your screen).
  2. If it's not visible, search for "Printers & Scanners" in the Start menu.
  3. Select your HP printer and click "Open queue".
  4. Right-click the print job you want to cancel and select "Cancel".

From a Mac

  1. Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Select your printer and click "Open Print Queue".
  3. Click the X next to the job you want to cancel.

From a Mobile Device

  • Android: Swipe down the notification bar, tap the print job, and tap Cancel.
  • iOS: Double-tap the Home button (or swipe up), find the print center, and cancel the job.
