Hey there! @JoanneC123, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community!

 

I'm not sure when you say how to clean the printer.

 

Do you have any issues with the printer or the ink cartridge?

 

You cannot open the printer completely and clean the printer manually. As the parts on an HP printer are not customer accessible or replaceable.

 

If you have issues with the ink cartridges try the steps recommended below.

 

Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.

Clean the ink cartridge contacts

Remove and then reinsert the cartridges again
