I bought a fairly new HP 3700 series printer/scanner at a sale and don't know the original IT administrator name or the password for the printer in order to install it.  I can use it with a USB port only.

You should be able to do a Wi-Fi reset as explained by an HP agent here

To change the EWS password you will need to contact an HP agent and ask for help.

Select the product you need help with and scroll down to support options.
Select "Contact us". You can change country and language if necessary.
