Hi @northernlites-4

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To print an A9 envelope on your HP LaserJet M254dw, you’ll need to adjust both the printer settings and the software settings. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Prepare the Envelope

  1. Load the Envelope:
    • Place the A9 envelope in the printer’s paper tray. Make sure to adjust the tray guides to fit the envelope snugly.

Step 2: Set Up the Printer

Access Printer Settings:

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP LaserJet M254dw and select Printer Properties.

Create a Custom Paper Size (if necessary):

  • Go to the Printing Preferences tab.
  • Click on Page Setup (or similar).
  • Look for an option to create a custom size. Set the dimensions for an A9 envelope, which is 5.8 x 8.3 inches (148 x 210 mm).
  • Save this new custom size.

Step 3: Print the Envelope

Open Your Document:

  • Open the application you want to print from (like Word or another text editor).
  • Go to File > Print.

Select the Printer:

  • Choose your HP LaserJet M254dw as the printer.

Set the Paper Size:

  • Click on Properties or Preferences.
  • Select the custom A9 envelope size you created earlier.

Adjust Additional Settings:

  • Ensure that the layout is set to landscape or portrait as needed.
  • Check other settings like print quality and color.

Print:

  • Click Print to start printing the envelope.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
