Hi @yorkmapper,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To print in black and white instead of color using an HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-In-One Printer, you can follow these steps.

  • Open the Print Dialog: Begin by opening the document or image you want to print on your computer. Then, navigate to the print dialog. You can usually do this by pressing "Ctrl + P" on your keyboard or by selecting "File" > "Print" from the menu.
  • Select Printer Preferences or Properties: In the print dialog, locate and select the "Printer Preferences" or "Properties" button. This will open a window with additional settings for your printer.
  • Choose Black and White Printing: Look for an option or tab within the Printer Preferences or Properties window that relates to color settings or print quality. Depending on your printer driver and software version, this option might be labeled differently. It could be called "Color Options," "Color/Quality," or something similar. Click on this option.
  • Select Grayscale or Black and White: Within the color options, you should see a setting for printing in grayscale or black and white. Check the box or select the option that specifies grayscale or black-and-white printing.
  • Apply the Changes: Once you've selected black and white printing, apply the changes by clicking "OK" or "Apply" in the Printer Preferences or Properties window.
  • Print Your Document: After you've set your printing preferences to black and white, proceed with printing your document as usual. Click the "Print" button in the print dialog to send the document to your printer.

By following these steps, your HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-In-One Printer should print the document in black and white instead of color. Remember to revert these settings back to color printing if you need to print in color again in the future.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
