hp 1108 cant set in general setting A4 page size . alwayas shows letter

I have facing a serious problem but none can solve this issue. I have hp 1108 laser jet printer & windows 11 , office 2024 . when i am printing on A4 page border not printing properly . same printer working fine on windows 10 . And also I cant change printer setting Letter to A4 . when i change the printer setting then shows done . but printer properties show page available letter only .

Paper Sizes / types in job / preferences settings might reflect the paper and tray settings in the printer.

If your printer is a wireless model,

If your printer is on your network,

Consider using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to view / adjust your printer's features and settings.

NOTE

It's unclear where / if the Tray and Paper settings are listed in EWS.

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

• The Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software must be installed and functional.  Additional information later in this message in section "Message Content References"

• The HP Driver should be selected as the Driver in Printer Properties > Advanced

Basic Installation Steps

Download and Save the Web Pack Installation file to your computer.

Open File Explorer

Navigate to the folder in which you saved the installation file (likely Downloads)

NOTE >> If using a printer USB cable between the printer and the computer, disconnect the cable until instructed to connect.

Right-Click on the installation package and “Run as Administrator”

Issue not resolved .

I've installed all the HP smart drivers, set all the preferences to default to A4 paper, restarted the PC and the printer, the defaults all show as A4, but the printer reports back that the only paper available is Letter size.

As a consequence it won't print properly.

I am now at a loss!
