Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer does not print at all. Tried removing/ reinstalling software, hp print and scan dictor shows it ok.Windows printer troubleshooter shows it ok.

When I try to print it prepares pages like it's sending them to the printer que but nothing ever shows up or prints.

Think I got hacked! There was a reply to this post telling me to call an 888 number  and it was hp support.

So I called and they did the remote control thing on my pc. Then they told me I had a trojan and offered to fix it.

They started asking for personal info and I thought something wasn't right so hung up and disconnected from remote and internet.

A scan showed Sobrab.ABY was detected as malware.

I see the post has been deleted.

Please note that the post was from a spammer.  The number is not an HP number.   Thank you for sharing your experience so that others 

will know not to trust just anyone claiming to be HP.

Great, my printer still doesn't work and now some stranger had access to my computer. Thanks for that HP!

Doubt I'll ever buy anything from HP after this
