hp Officejet 8020 performs printer maintenance when I try to print how do I disable.

Hello

Every time I try to print something it starts going into maintenance mode. it is very annoying and wastes ink, how do I disable so that when it prints it prints automatically?

Is there a way to disable this,? I am starting to dislike HP printers.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP Printer wherein it goes into maintenance mode before printing.

This is how the printer is designed to keep the printhead in good condition.

However, you may also download and install the firmware update by following the steps from this document.  (Click on the word document to open the web page).
