Hello @bzc0fq ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

To print on both sides in color with your HP CM3530 MFP printer, you need to ensure that your printer is properly configured and that you are using the correct driver settings. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to configure your printer for duplex color printing:

Install the Correct Printer Driver:

Ensure that you have the latest HP Printer Driver installed. The HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) for PCL and PostScript supports duplex printing. You can download the appropriate driver from the HP Support website.

Configure Print Settings:

Open the document you wish to print and navigate to the Print dialog.

Select your HP CM3530 MFP printer.

Click on Properties or Printer Properties.

Go to the Finishing tab, and check the Print on both sides checkbox to enable duplex printing.

If you want to ensure color settings, check the Color tab or navigate to Printer Features and ensure that color printing is enabled.

Set Duplex Mode:

In the Duplex Mode settings, ensure that the mode is set to allow printing on both sides. This should automatically accommodate color settings as long as they are appropriately configured in the driver settings.

Update Printer Firmware:

Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date, as it may resolve compatibility issues with duplex color printing. Firmware updates can be obtained from the HP Support website.

Check Paper Type and Quality:

Make sure you are using paper that supports duplex color printing. Higher quality, thicker paper may yield better results for color duplexing.

By following these steps and ensuring all settings align for duplex color printing, you should be able to achieve the desired outcome. If issues persist, reinstalling the drivers may sometimes help resolve hidden configuration issues.
