HI, thanks for your message but it did not help at all.
HP helpdesk France has resolved the problem. Instead of installate the printer locally with USB cable, they have install it on the network.
Its pitty to see that HP can not make a driver that works properly with a USB cable, and this for windows 11 pro, windows 10 pro and windows 7 pro. I think I bought a printer by the wrong factory.

Hi @Buisson
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The PCL XL error with subcode Subsystem: JPEG Error usually indicates an issue related to processing JPEG images in print jobs. Here are steps to troubleshoot and resolve the error:
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can download the latest firmware from the HP Support website specific to your printer model.
Check Printing Preferences:
- Go to Devices in the Windows search.
- Select Printers & Scanners and then choose your printer from the list.
- Click Manage and then Printing preferences.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab.
- In the HP EasyColor section, select "Automatic" to optimize color settings.
Adjust Raster Compression Settings:
- Go to the Basic tab, click More Settings, and select "Automatic" from the Raster Compression section.
- Click OK and try printing again.
Convert JPEG Files:
- For documents containing JPEG images, try converting the images to a different format (such as PNG or PDF) and attempt printing again.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to address the PCL XL error related to JPEG images.

Thanks for the follow-up, and I’m glad to hear HP France helped you get it working over the network—though it’s definitely frustrating that USB didn’t perform as expected.
If you need anything else, I'm all ears (or rather, all text). Just let me know!
