My kids got me a new Mac for Christmas. We are trying to connect my old  hp desk jet 2050 to the new Mac with macOS sequoia 15.2. It sees the printer, but when I hit print it acts like it is going to print for a split second and then nothing happens. I tried downloading the HP driver but it says it needs an older version of the MacOs. Any suggestions?

1.  First check the USB cable is connected between the Mac and printer.

2. Then try to install with the next driver for Mac:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
