Hi @RKhazback,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Deskjet 2400 printer is not printing color after replacing the cartridges, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Check Cartridges Installation: Ensure that the color cartridge is properly installed. Sometimes cartridges may not be seated correctly, causing printing issues.
  • Verify Cartridge Authenticity: Make sure that the color cartridge you installed is genuine and compatible with your printer model. Using counterfeit or incompatible cartridges can cause printing problems.
  • Printer Software Update: Ensure that your printer drivers and software are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with new cartridges. HP Deskjet F2400 All-in-One series - HP Support
  • Clean Print Heads: Use the printer's utility software to clean the print heads. This can help remove any dried ink or debris that may be blocking the nozzles.
  • Color Settings: Check the color settings in your printer software or printer control panel. Make sure that color printing is enabled and set as the default option.
  • Check Ink Levels: Verify that the new color cartridge has sufficient ink levels. If the cartridge is low on ink, replace it with a new one.
  • Restart Printer: Try restarting your printer to see if it resolves the issue. Sometimes a simple restart can fix minor printing problems.
  • Test Print: Print a test page to see if the printer is capable of printing color. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer hardware or software.
  • Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, try resetting your printer to its factory settings. This will restore the printer to its default configuration and may resolve any software-related issues.

I hope this helps.
