I bought an HP Deskjet 4155e which I had successfully set up a few months ago. Then, after two power outages, I had to reset it. It will no longer connect to the internet and now when I finally get it to connect to my computer with the USB cord, it is making me set it up again. Problem is, I cannot get it to finish set up since it is not recognizing the set-up cartridges that are in place. Please help with either getting around the set-up cartridge problem or getting me back online. I completely deleted the printer from my hp smart and have been trying to get it set up again. I have done all the troubleshooting I found on this site and on the internet. Thank you in advance for any help I can get.

@sarahn2012, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you do not have the setup ink cartridges. We will have to perform an OOB reset to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
