Product: HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2778 All-in-One Printer

I am unable to change the "Factory default" in the printer driver with the result that some of my application always print in "normal mode" instead of draft mode. Apps like Tally only take the factory default and I end up using my cartridge very fast.

Earlier there was a "save" button to make necessary changes to mode (norma/draft/high res), paper size etc.

Now there is only a "save as" button which makes you create a new one. But the apps dont pick the new ones.
