I am trying to print 4x6 photos and no matter what setting i use or program every print is off on the right side margin. I have tried to manually set the margin but it always defaults it back to around a half inch margin. The other sides are just the typical white border. I am at a loss on what to try because every option leaves my photos way to small for the frame. My printer is set to 4x6 and the 4x6 is selected on print preview. Also i have updated the driver to what i believe to be the most up to date. Thanks for any advice.

What is the weight and brand of photo paper being used here? Were you able to print photos before?

I am using hp everyday photo paper 4x6 and 5x7 and both do the same things. No matter what option it ends up giving a larger right side margin and the picture ends up being smaller then what it is supposed to be. I select the correct size on the printer and also on the application. I have used the hp printer to print along with paint, windows 10, and cs6 and all options give me this result.

Were you able to print photos earlier? Please make sure the weight of the paper, size is compatible with the Printer: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05945860

The printer paper is correct as I stated before its HP everyday printer paper which falls into the correct size for the Envy 5052. The printer has printed fine before but I have moved onto a new computer. I installed all the drivers off the hp website and updated the printer upon the Install. I have read through forms and see other people have this problem and they were told to down load some HP designer studio or something but its no longer available.

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:
