Hi @JohnRedwood
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for explaining the issue—I'm really sorry you're dealing with this. When your HP LaserJet Pro only prints even-numbered pages, even though “Print All” is selected, it’s often due to a manual duplex setting being enabled in the print driver or application. This setting causes the printer to print even pages first, expecting you to manually reload the paper for odd pages.
Let’s walk through a quick fix:
Step-by-Step Fix: Printer Only Printing Even Pages
1. Check Duplex Settings in the Print Dialog
- Open the document you’re trying to print.
- Go to File > Print.
- Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Look for a setting called “Manual Duplex” or “Print on both sides manually”.
- If enabled, turn it off.
- Make sure “Print All Pages” is selected.
2. Disable Duplex in Printer Driver
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP LaserJet Pro > Printer Properties.
- Under the Device Settings tab:
- Set Duplex Unit (for 2-sided printing) to Not Installed.
- Click Apply and OK.
3. Run HP Diagnose & Fix Tool
This tool can detect and correct driver-level misconfigurations.
- Download it from:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/help/diagnose-fix-printer - Follow the prompts to scan and fix print settings.
If the issue persists after these steps, let me know which app you're printing from (e.g., Word, Chrome, Acrobat), and I’ll guide you further.
You're doing everything right by checking the settings—this is a common configuration quirk that’s usually easy to correct.
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
