Microsoft Windows 11

I've tried to set up the printer multiple times and every time it says "printer setup incomplete". Could please do with some assistance as I've exhausted all my options and I'm sure the printer works well, it just seems to be a technical issue with the HP setup.

Hi @Rackssb,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the HP LaserJet M110we printer saying "printer setup incomplete." Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this problem.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure your printer is connected to the internet. It should be able to access HP's web services for setup.

Reset and Reinstall the Printer:

  • Uninstall the printer from your computer or any connected devices.
  • Remove the printer from the HP Smart app as well.
  • Restart your printer.
  • Reinstall the HP Smart app on your devices and log in to your HP account.

Add Printer Using the App: After reinstalling the app, add your printer again using the HP Smart app. This often helps ensure that all necessary updates and settings are applied correctly.

Enable Web Services: Make sure that web services are enabled on your printer. You can usually do this through the HP Smart app. If it's already enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it.

Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s web interface.

Power Cycle Devices: Turn off the printer and your router for a few minutes, then turn them back on to refresh the network connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
