@XIT10, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e printer only prints after restarting your computer, there may be an issue with the connection, printer driver, or print queue. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer through Wi-Fi or cable. Try unplugging and replugging the cable, or reconnecting to Wi-Fi.

Update Printer Drivers: Outdated drivers can cause connection issues.

  • Go to the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Install the drivers and restart your computer.

Clear the Print Queue: Sometimes print jobs can get stuck in the queue.

  • Open ‘Devices and Printers’ on your computer.
  • Right-click on your printer and select ‘See what’s printing’.
  • Cancel any existing print jobs and try printing again.

Check Printer Status: Make sure your printer is set to ‘Online’ and not ‘Offline’.

  • In the ‘Devices and Printers’ window, right-click on your printer and ensure it is set to ‘Use Printer Online’.

Restart Print Spooler Service: Sometimes the spooler service needs to be restarted.

  • Type services.msc in the Windows search box and open the Services app.
  • Scroll down to find 'Print Spooler'. Right-click to restart this service.

Firmware Update: Ensure your printer’s firmware is updated to the latest version. You can usually do this via the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.

Check for Windows and MacOS Updates: Make sure your operating system is up to date, as updates can often resolve compatibility issues.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
