Hi @Ravi524,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP printer and laptop. It can be frustrating when devices are not working together as expected. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

Confirm Processor Type

  • Check if your HP Omnibook 5 is running Windows on ARM (Qualcomm Snapdragon or similar).
  • Go to Settings → System → About → Processor. If it says ARM, that’s the root cause.

Install ARM‑Compatible Drivers

  • Visit the HP Support site for your printer model.
  • Look specifically for ARM64 drivers or Universal Print drivers.
  • If none are listed, the printer may not be supported on ARM laptops.

Use Windows Built‑In Drivers

  • Go to Printers & Scanners → Add a printer.
  • Choose Add manually → Use Windows Update drivers.
  • Select a generic HP driver. This often allows basic printing, though scanning may not work.

Windows:

  • Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Add Printer → The printer I want isn’t listed
  • Choose Add printer using TCP/IP address
  • Enter the printer’s IP from the Network Configuration Page
  • Finish setup
  • This often bypasses discovery issues.

Reboot Devices:

  • Restart your printer and your computer. Sometimes, simply rebooting can resolve configuration issues.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Thanks for replying but till date 4 engineers from HP have visited and i have also tried download and install "HP Universal Scan - Full Feature Software and Driver (ARM 64)" but still printer is offline. There must be a problem with printer or addition support from HP required, so some one who actually know about ARM processor and install it.
