Hi @tasukete,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Connection and Status:

  • Ensure your printer is properly connected to your computer or network.
  • Check if the printer is turned on and not in sleep or hibernation mode.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart the printer by turning it off, waiting for 60 seconds, and then turning it back on.
  • Restart your computer or device that you are trying to print from.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look at the printer’s display panel for any error messages or alerts.
  • Follow any on-screen instructions to resolve them.

Verify Print Queue:

  • On your computer, go to the Devices and Printers section.
  • Check the print queue to see if there are any stalled print jobs.
  • Cancel any pending print jobs to clear the queue.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website and check for the latest driver updates for your printer model.
  • Download and install any available updates.
  • If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This tool can help diagnose and fix printing and scanning issues.

Check Ink or Toner Levels:

  • Make sure your printer has adequate ink or toner. Low or empty cartridges can prevent printing.

Ensure Default Printer Selection:

  • Make sure that the HP OfficeJet 4650 is set as the default printer in your computer's printer settings.

Network Issues:

  • If the printer is connected via a network, ensure that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that your router is functioning properly.
  • Consider reconnecting to the network or resetting the network settings on the printer.

I hope this helps.
